This notice explains how Hublit Lighting Pvt. Ltd. ("Hublit", "we") handles the personal data you share through this website. It covers the forms on this site and visits to it.

What we collect, and why

• Project enquiry: your name, company, email, phone, city, the application you choose and your message. We use them to reply to your enquiry and to prepare a proposal.
• Catalogue request: your name, company, email, phone, city and the catalogue you choose. We use them to give you the catalogue and to contact you about your request.
• Partner sign-up: your name, business name, email, phone, city, partner type, type of business, years in the lighting business, whether you have a showroom, and your message. We use them to evaluate a possible partnership and to contact you about it.
• Supplier registration: your name, company, email, phone, your business address (two address lines, city, state and PIN code), supplier category, GSTIN if you give it, and your message. We use them to evaluate your company as a supplier and to contact you about it.
• Job application: your name, email, phone, the CV you upload (PDF, DOC or DOCX) and the cover note if you write one, together with the role you apply for. We use them to consider your application and to contact you about it. Your CV is stored privately in our ERPNext system; it is not published on this website. We keep an application for as long as we need it for recruitment, and then delete or anonymise it.

With each form we also record the page it was sent from and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so that we know how you found us. Our servers keep standard technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and working.

Please do not send sensitive personal data, such as health information, through these forms.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Form submissions are stored in Hublit's own ERPNext business system. Only Hublit staff who handle enquiries, sales, purchasing or recruitment can see them. The cloud provider that hosts our system stores the data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only the cookies it needs to work, such as a session cookie. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or social-media trackers.

If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or longer where the law requires it, for example for tax and accounting records. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or update it, or to erase it where the law does not require us to keep it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 sets out rights like these, and we will handle requests in line with it as its provisions come into force.

To make a request or raise a concern, email info@hublit.com with "Privacy" in the subject line, or write to us at the address above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India as provided under that Act.

Children

This website is meant for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We will update this notice if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
